Ying Li is an instructional designer on the Training and Support team of Instructional& Informational Technology Services (IITS) at Concordia University. She designs and develops training programs and materials to support faculty members in using learning technologies, such as Moodle and Student Response Systems, to enhance teaching and learning. Befitting her years of university teaching and instructional design experience, she believes in an integrated approach to technology training that meshes technology, pedagogy and content knowledge. In other words, there is usually a pedagogical why and a subject matter what behind the technical how in the training experience she helps create.
