Scientific random questions with Moodle Quiz

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Moodle has some elements that provide for randomness for the online assessment and some limited support for math & science contents. However, teachers creating scientific quizzes are typically limited to "Multiple choice” questions.

In this workshop, we'll use WIRIS quizzes to create first a static "Short answer” math question. The student will get a math formula editor to type in the answer.

On a second step, we'll customize this question to fulfill some extra requirements, such as "The answer is simplified".

Finally, we'll add random parameters to the question, so that every student gets new values at every run.
