BC Learning Network - Online Resource Development for BC

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

BC Learning Network (BCLN) is a consortium of 48 BC school districts.  BCLN uses membership fees to develop online resources for both Distance Learning and Blended Learning programs within BC.  These resources are all based in Moodle and include: videos, games, lessons, interactions, projects, question databases.....etc.  BCLN is always interested in potential trades and arrangements that improve learning for BC students.   In this session we'll talk about the consortium structure, development strategies, the variety of resources, and common implementations of these resources.

TAKE AWAYS

- A consortium is an effective way to spearhead development.

- Resource development within a consortium can be managed to include a variety of members.

- A consortium can lead to great partnership deals (Content Connections, WIRIS, Rosetta Stone, Edynamic Learning, MathOnline).
